Beautiful Russian Lacquer Box with a beautiful story - Signed, Dated.

The Story of Ruslau and Ludmilla. A fantastic collector's piece showing most of the scenes of the story. The noble Russian confronts the strength of the Enchanted Head. He must get the golden sword to do the battle with Chernomor (upper right) Bottom we see the beautiful Ludmilla imprisoned in the most genteel setting.
No nicks, chips or cracks.
