Antique framed civil war gentleman
Circa 1900-1920’s
This is a striking antique framed black-and-white photograph of a distinguished gentleman in Civil War era dress (resembles period military attire). It is housed in a deep, solid wood frame with a rich patina and original aged details.
The image appears to be a vintage reproduction photograph of Robert E. Lee. Because the piece is sealed within its original frame, I have not removed it to determine whether it is an actual photograph or a print to preserve the integrity.
• Frame size: 14.25” tall x 12.25” wide x 2.5” deep
• Photo size: approx. 9.5” x 7.5” visible
• Frame: solid wood with layered molding, original backing with decorative floral paper
