It is a bolt of kimono fabric made of dark navy silk with a plant pattern design.

Yuki-tsumugi is a high-quality silk fabric produced in and around Yuki City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture.
It is characterized by using hand-spun yarn from raw silk and performing all processes by hand.
The technique is designated as a National Important Intangible Cultural Property and is also registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
It is characterized by its soft, fluffy, and warm texture.
