Signed, dated folk pottery pitcher. Handmade by North Georgia folk potter Grace Nell Hewell. She is famous for her face jugs. This pitcher was unglazed and features a flat, matte blue paint. A pretty rare feature for a Hewell piece. 8.5” tall. A few scratches/ dings but in good vintage condition. Perfect to use as a vase, too.
